Raffi Lavie was born in Tel Aviv, in 1937. He passed away in 2007.
Raffi began teaching at the Midrasha Art Academy in 1966.
In 2002, a retrospective exhibit of his work was held at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
In 2005, he had a solo exhibition at Givon Gallery in Tel Aviv.
In 2007, Raffi Lavie died at his home in Tel Aviv, aged 70.
Raffi Lavie represented Israel in the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009.
1959-60 Studied at The Art Teachers School, Tel Aviv and was one of the founders and organizers of “10+” group in The Sixties.
1971-72 Organized a series of exhibitions at the Artists House; Active In organizing exhibitions of his former students.
